hi! I was taking my 8 month old GSD upstairs with me when I noticed his eye was red! I called the vet and they're completely booked until Monday. Being as he's my baby, I want to know if you guys have seen this before and could advise me if I should try and take him to a critical care place if it needs to be taken care of before Monday! He hasn't yelped or scratched at it, I noticed it after he was barking at the lawn service people. I would appreciate any advice!

Most likely a reaction to the lawn chemicals, since you mention lawn service people. Otherwise, could be a myriad of things causing ectropion. Vetericyn eye wash (I've specifically used the one for pink eye on an allergic pup I ended up having to return), and Bendadryl. Should resolve itself in about a day, but still keep the vet appt.

Check his teeth and see if he's getting in his rear molars.
