Just heard that T-Rex vom Kriegerhaus, a 100% WL GSD finished his AKC CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!
Wow! That is just AMAZING! Congratulations to owner Phyllis Dobbs!
Here is his pedigree. It doesn't include ALL the titles he actually has!

Where is he located? Who handled him for each title -- owner or special handler? Sorry, does make a difference. Had a dog who was tops in working sheep and would have done wonders as per the handler, But as soon as the owner left the ring, dog refused to work and owner knew nothing about herding.

Without a doubt, Phyllis Dobbs would have handled her dog to all of his working titles; as for the conformation ring, T-rex's win photos show him being handled by the same young man in each shot. Not up on who the most recent crop of top pro handlers are in the AKC show rings these days, so I don't recognize him, but someone else may.
Damn fine looking dog, not extreme by ANY standard, and Xeph's pups look a heck of a lot more like him than most of the recent SV VA dogs tend to look...
Edited to add: And congratulations to Haus Vianden, too, as T-Rex is the son of their late, great Zico van't Linnershof.

Julia Foster handled him to his last wins it looks like. All working titles were put on by Phyllis. A pro was only used for conformation

WOW... Congrats to T-Rex and Phyllis. I have personally met T-Rex.. he has come out to our club several times and I absolutely like this dog... great working drives and awesome temperment....

To be clear, Phyllis Dobbs is also his breeder, as T-Rex is out of her home-bred bitch, Roxie vom Kriegerhaus. His sire, Zico, was with Haus Vianden from late 2006 until he passed away in 2013 at 13.5 years of age.
So this is a breeder/owner/handler multi-working discipline trained & titled, European working-line GSD who was handled to his AKC breed championship by professional handlers--which doesn't diminish any of this dog's accomplishments one whit. In short, this is a true all-purpose dog.

Wonderful accomplishment for the owner/trainer of T-Rex and for the breed in general. Earning the OTCH alone takes a ton of hard work and lots of OB trials. I believe he may be the first Am Bred AKC CH from German working lines to have that title plus the OTCH. He looks like a very good dog too.

Nice to see that AKC judges are putting up some European- type dogs, hope that catches on. Congrats to the breeder, and all involved with getting this dog to his finish in both conformation and obedience titles.
