I found a picture of my dog on there that was taken without permission, and in violation of my copyright on his site, so I have to wonder how honest this person is?

Why or what is the purpose of the pic of your dog being on his site? Same parents etc??

by olskoolgsds on 26 February 2007 - 05:02

Go to his web site! Not quite sure why you used these videos to promote Police/Protection dogs. Not impressive. Sleeve happy, not interrested in the agitator. I know you emphasized green dogs, but appears to be a poor start to " man work". The sleeve should not be the trophy.

Lucas, I am sure it was an oversight on your designers part, as many web designers are less than honest. I will be happy to send you the links to my site where the pictures were taken from. If you think I can't prove it, I will be happy to prove it in court. If you want to remove all of the stolen photos, then maybe you will come out with a little bit of a reputation left, as I noticed that there are pictures from another site also. I will be glad to send you proof, but remember you are not in a position to make demands, you are in a position to try to defend your actions.

Is the market for green police dogs that competetive and cutthroat that you're going to get an international lawyer over a few pictures? I think this guy lives in Poland...

by p59teitel on 27 February 2007 - 17:02

And beyond that, if you read between the lines and take into account the fact that the guy is writing in a second language, he's not really "mak[ing] demands." Rather, he's just asking you to show him what was taken from your website so he can go bust his website designer's chops and fix the problem, which frankly is a much better response than you'd get from many of the characters we read about here.
