Hello,
i have tried researching the law regarding police canines in rental homes.
when we brought Fyba to our apartment, they said it is illegal for them to tell us no or charge us pet rent.
we are now looking for a rental home but I can't find any legislation about this.
does anyone know if we can be denied housing or charged pet deposit based on a police k9?

Never heard such a thing. What rentals do, is sometimes not allow "dangerous breeds", in which case you move to a rental which allows gsd's.

Surely the PD can advise. Have some List, maybe ? An issue which must come
up quite often.

I would consult your dept. The Dept. would not want any violation or potential problem with a LE dog or any police equipment.
