Has anyone used ivermectin wormer for swine as wormer for dogs

A link to Beagles Unlimited which has a lot of good and accurate advice on health for dogs ( Beagles ) .. adjust dosage for a 60-80 pound GSD vs a 20 pound Beagle
1% injectible ivermectin repurposed is the way to go for economy and ease of use.

There are some areas ( primarily gulf coast, Florida, and the Mississippi River Valley that have reported heartworms with resistance to ivermectin and it's kin ( Moxidectin, etc). Resistance has primarily been reported in areas with 12 months per year mosquito populations and populations that could be transported up the Mississippi River by barges and boats during shipping.
