I RECENTLY SWITCHED MY PUPPY FROM SCIENCE DIET TO INNOVA,NOW HE SHITS LIQUID,WHAT CAN OR SHOULD I DO?

It sounds like you didn't gradually do the switch. When you switch food for dogs or puppies, you have to gradually do it. You need to mix his old food into the new and gradually take the old away. If you just put him on the new food with out mixing the old you will get what your dealing with right now.

than what should i do now?

I use Innova EVO in the silver bag.
Just keep him on it - he'll be ok in a 1-3 days and then you'll get great stools that don't stink as bad as Science Diet, too, and Innova is a MUCH higher quality/richer dogfood than Science Diet with FAR better ingredients...that may also be part of the reason why.

I would probably go out and buy a small bag of his old food, and slowly do the transition. It can take anywhere from a few day's or a little longer for his stomach to adjust.

OH, PS - if you are using canned dogfood along with the dry, just use dry until the stool calms down - then you can slowly work in the canned if that's what you prefer. Wet dogfood will give them the squirts almost instantly.

***DON'T GO BACK TO THE OLD DOGFOOD!!!!!!**** You'll just prolong the issue. If you've already gotten the Innova in his system, his body is already making the transition - you'll cause him to get all out of whack all over again!!!

Can't a dog/puppy dehydrate from having the runs for so long or not?

FYI, I believe puppies shouldn't be on EVO... just be sure to read the bag carefully
You can also add a universal digestive enzyme to his food to make the adjustment a bit easier or try just plain yogurt.....

Havoc-
How old is your puppy?
I had the same problem with Innova puppy formula. The company told me to cut back the amount of food you are feeding the pup as the food is concentrated (their words not mine.)
I never had any luck. I took the puppy formula back and put the pup on Innova adult formula with good results.
I don't live where it's easy to get Innova so I stopped feeding it.
Never feed EVO formula to any pup under 1 year old. I believe the company states that on their website.
Add some canned pumpkin to the pups food about 1 Tablespoon. Seems to help stop the squirts.
