Puppy is GSD or Belgian Malinois? - Page 1

Hi! I would like to ask the opinion of the experienced here whether this is a gsd or belgian malinois puppy? I was told this is a belgian malinois, but its color looks like a gsd. Then there is the violet gland tuft of black triangle fur on its tail which i read, some claim to be the hallmark of gsd, how true is that? The puppy has turned two months old, a female. I welcome all your opinion! Thank you!

All canids have the scent gland on the tail, in domestic dogs its not as pronounced as wild canids. Some domestic breeds its only rudimentary, but it is definitely Not unique to the german shepherd.

GSD. I'm not sure where someone got the idea it was a Mali.

Looks like a sable gsd to me. Where did you get her, did you get her from a breeder? She sure is a nice looking pup. What are your plans for her?

Looks like a Mali head and a GSD body. Perhaps a Shepinois?
