Aussie? Cool, that'll keep my brother on his toes, lol! I thought that but thought he was too big boned...those paws look massive!

Looks straight Australian shepherd. Feet are normal.

As you can tell, I'm not familiar with this breed---at all! But thanks! He's got the cutest expression & facial markings. And he'll have a great home with my brother. They have a newly empty nest, so this pup will live the life of Riley....

Definitely agree with Australian Shepherd majority.

Beautiful blue eyed Austrailian Shepherd puppy;  best of luck with him...  very cute;  my hubs wants a female later on:  I ask and WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THIS PUPPY?  hERDING, ETC.    He is almost 70 years old (hub that  is).  can't see him herding later on.??Clever  (Tri-Merle also)

If this pup is a mix, it's still very well-hidden by his puppyness...because at present he does look 100% Australian Shepherd to my eye, as well.  Very attractive pup, and hopefully your brother & his wife won't let his cuteness mesmerize them too much, because the breed can be pushy & assertive, and in somes cases inappropriately aggressive if they have overly indulgent owners. Obedience training starts now, not when he's 6 months old...by then, he'd be running the household!

I HOPE my brother has plans for an activity. I hope to talk to him this weekend, & will relay your messages. He's a good person, took care of my mom during her decline from LB Dementia; that takes courage & commitment, so I know he's got what it takes. He's a veteran too, so he has that discipline thing down.

I can't wait to meet Rocky, too bad they live so far away!

Thanks for your input! jackie harris
