What do you think this dog is a mix of? - Page 1

Hi all, I'm curious as to what you all see in this dog? All I know about it is that it's about a year old(guessed to be) and was found up north in a highly wooded area living as a wild dog. :)

Siberian Husky  x  some sort of Terrier ?

I would say Husky X Coyote...  but definatly to me looks to at least have some Husky mixed in there a bit.

Ha, jyl, that's cool you said coyote. As I was studying the pictures it made me think of the feral dogs in upstate NY. They are called coydogs, as they are coyote and dog.
This one looks like coyote/ gsd to me. What's her temperament like? How long has she been out of the woods?

I thought this was a joke at first...sorry. Uh, yeah...that's a coydog! I do see Husky features in the face, and have to agree with Jyl.

My first reaction was coydog, too! We get a lot of them in Ontario, because people dump their dogs in forested areas. The dogs either get eaten, or interbreed with the coyotes. :(

Prissyzilla, how big/tall is this dog? What's the story on it, if you've learned any more than what you already posted? 

I think we all agree on Husky becose of the blue eyes, what about some Malinois x Husky ?
