I am wondering if there would be any interest in this.
Basically this means that individual Bread Clubs, Breeders, National Kennels, etc.. would get to create a "Virtual Private Data(Set)" to reference and view. It would be hosted at our server farm but could have any domain name. (like data.hrfi.is)
Features would include
- All current features for pedigrees
- Grouping of dogs
- Coupling or de-coupling a dog to the main pedigreedatabase.com
- Adding new dogs and deciding if they are propagated to the main pedigreedatabase.com
- Choosing breeds to work with ( cost would probably be dependent on number of breeds)
- ? multiple user groups within each group or per breed. (for training groups, breeding groups and so forth).
- ~ Still thinking about further possibillities
It would all be connected but running in a private environment allowing the stakeholders to choose what is public and what not.
