Both sire and dam are the products of outcrossing, and neither of them have any common ancestry.    Not very

predictable outcome, IMO.      What are you trying to achieve with this mating?

I have a Zidane daughter, out of Daggi - she is very high prey drive (OCD about the ball),  social with people, but somewhat questionable nerve for sport and little to no defence drive.

The apple does not fall very far from the tree.  I like the maternal lines better than the paternal lines and if you are likely going to get puppies more like momma's side of the family so you should like momma's side of the family as well if you do this breeding.  Personally I would lose Ranger and find a good Czech male with good hips to plug into the equation and try to linebreed on something in the dams pedigree otherwise this breeding is a bit of a rudderless ship.  It might work if you want pups like momma and daddy .. I would like something more like this for a sire

Bubba - the first mating that you suggested is with Trooper, who is a litter-mate to my dog Thor, lol. That "T" litter of vom Ron (Joanro's breeding) is nicely line-bred on a strong female. I agree that it would be preferable to do some line-breeding on a strong dog on the dam side, like you suggested (depending on objectives of breeding and target buyer?).

My Zidane daughter is around 10 yrs old now and I adopted her from a rescue agency. Why she ended up in a rescue is a mystery but I don't care - she is an OK pet as I did not intend to do sport with her when she was adopted.

Joan has some very good dogs from bloodlines that I admire but I used Trooper and the other dog Majic vom Haus Hall as examples .. find something in the mothers bloodline that you like and then find a male with the qualities that you want plus the bloodline of your female that you admire and then line breed on it.  Trooper and Majic came to mind as I knew their bloodlines.  You can't expect miracles when you line breed at the 4th and 5th position .. it's more of a course correction bringing your female back to the middle of her bloodline with her litter by selecting a male that compliments her qualities and bloodline strengths.  Another dog that I know below that could work with this female
