I have not bred any of my GSD's for 4 years.
I would appreciate it if any good breeders of GSD's (mine are WL)
Could supply me with a great diet for my Bitch.
Right now she is on grain free high quality dry food and I cook her chicken stew with brown ricw with coconut oil and some veggies.
What more can I do?
She is not quite 3 weeks so any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks very much!

It was recommended to me to feed my female Puppy kibble during pregnancy.

Why change diet at this time? If that it is what you must do,Change food gradually . Blend new food in small percentage to old diet and change ratio over days to weeks. I treat a pregnant female like they are in a state of Health, not in a dieased state.

I'm not wanting to CHANGE her diet. I just thought someone knew of a good vitamin supplement or diffent type of protein that I didn't already know about. or... what type of meat that would be good for she and pupppies to be thrive on.
I have been reading about green tripe.
No thanks on the puppy kibble idea but thanks.
I already know enough about that kind of feeding ideas.
I'm actually looking for new proteins and supplements that I haven't heard of before.
Thanks to all!

you don't need any vitamins as long as she is on a very good diet .only out her on puppy food on the last 2 weeks you don't want her to get fat that will cause its one problems introduce it slowly over week before hand make sure u give her light regular excise after the pups are born keep her on puppy food of high quality for about a 2 week after their weaned then slowly inter duce her back to a good adult dog food to much protein is not good for a preg bitch be carful

I feed that to pups too. There I add some organic maple syrup. Cooked meat and rice is great. I would warn againmst any other suplements besides fish oil.

For my knowledge base, is there a concern on feeding puppy kibble to a PG dog? I want to make sure I have good information going forward.
