I HAVE ONLY HAD HER 2 MONTHS NOW.
I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ONE WITH SOME EXPERIENCED ADVISE ... OTHER THAN THE RUDE PEOPLE THAT MAKE SNIDE COMMENTS ABOUT ALMOST ANYTHING THEY CAN...

Sometimes it´s a lack of nutrients, sometimes it´s just bad habit.
You could run a blood panel, but most of the time it doesn´t help.
In case you walk her regularly, she doesn´t have the possibility to eat her own sh.. .

I feed them Green Tripe and/or Beef kidneys (whole ones) After they whelp they will eat 45-5 at one time for several days
You could feed a supplement for nutrients but I like the natural way

I would worm the bitch with fenbendazole (Panacur or Safeguard) if she hasn't already been wormed and she is not too close to delivery ( before 42 days ). I would give her a 5 day course of fenbendazole if she has not been wormed or tested for parasites. The 5 day regimen get giardia and whipworms which the 3 day regimen misses sometimes.

My one female has eaten her own and my other female's poop since I got her at 4 months (4 years old now). I try to clean up immediately after they go but sometimes they are far away from me on the property. I feed 50/50 raw & kibble. No medical problems, just a habit that I have not been able to break.
Both of my dogs scarf down horse and chicken manure daily. Very few dogs I know will pass up cat, rabbit or deer poop. While we humans think this is disgusting I think the dogs enjoy it -- they are scavengers and I believe their wild cousins do the same.
There are various reasons why they may do this. Here are two articles:

If she doesn't have an underlying medical condition just clean up after her right away.
