I like the breeding. I would give the pup a shot just because to it's line breeding.

My amateur opinion... please note my experience with Czech dogs is limited at best.
Tom z PS is not known for being the best hip. That doesn't mean he was a bad dog by any means. I have been told by a few that he was a dominat, strong, hard dog with solid prey drive (i.e. not a prey monkey) and good aggression. More of a serious, all business, no BS type dog than a happy-go lucky goober, so to speak.
You've got a Aly vom Vorderwaldstein coming in on the dam's side. I'm sure as we all know, Aly is the great hip improving king. He's also known for bringing in biddability and eagerness to please the handler, in conjunction with a good amount of prey drive.
So, the warnings have been said before about linebreeding on Tom: one might want to avoid it due to hip & elbow concerns. But does the line to Aly counter act and balance this concern out? Can't say. Hopefully it does!
The only other dog in the pedigree I have any bit of "knowledge" on is Melano vom Cap Arkona. That gives you another line to Fero (Aly goes back to Fero) and his offspring, which, generally speaking, are known for hip and elbow improvements. With Melano, you get Nick, who adds hardness and aggression.
Upon closer inspection, there's a female on the sire's side named Dark Va-Pe, who I know nothing about, but again, you get another instance of Nick, as well as an instance of Yoschy, which in turn both go back to Fero. More hardness, aggression, and perhaps more reactivity. Also Yoschy is known for bringing in lots of prey, aggression, and biddability. I like Yoschy, so I'm a bit biased there!
Is this the breeding for you? I don't know. Again, I'm an amateur when it comes to this stuff. What would I expect from such a breeding? I don't know, I don't have any experience with any of the Czech dogs listed in the pedigree. It's certainly a breeding that interests me a lot and I'd really like to know how these pups turn out.
