Havoc,
do you see how people answered this without even asking you what it really is you are trying to accomplish? That should be a lesson. Do you want to do Schutzhund? Another sport? Show? What is your experience level? Do you plan to breed? Do you want working bloodlines, show lines, German bloodlines, Czech bloodlines, just any old bloodlines will do? Etc. ETc. etc.
Sure, anyone can sell you some "top rated" dogs (and sell you the farm too), and in the meantime, you are going to get screwed just like so many other naive people who post here. If you post more about what it is you want to do with these dogs, it will be more likely that you might get steered into the right direction. The fact that you have to ask this question in the first place suggests you do not have much experience. That is almost a sure way to get screwed over. Do your homework first.

Well, I answered this post based on who I would deal with. I figure it's up to you havoc to figure out what you want the dog for and discuss that with the potential seller. hodie is right ,do your homework and clearly you are working on that. I noticed your similar post from you a few weeks ago. I also notice the same recommended kennels coming up and which one's never do.Good Luck, and take your time. It would also be helpful if you mentioned in your post what type dog your are looking for, as many kennels like to,or seem to specialize.
hodie, asking the question does not NECESSARILY indicate lack of experience, many people ask questions to explore and get second opinions..as it were and also to filter out who knows what they are talking about and who the babbling idiots are...for future reference. Just a thought

gsdlvr2,
In my experience, asking does tell me a lot. Maybe not you, and that is fine. I, for one, am sick to death of seeing all the posts on this and other boards where people feel they have been cheated and screwed. In some cases, they have. In others, it was largely their own fault because they did not know what they are doing. If a straight on post like mine helps Havoc or someone else, great. If not, they can feel free to ignore it, but, I think I will say whatever I say and yes, sadly, many posts turn out to be people who are new and trying to learn. Asking the RIGHT questions is the best way to start.
If I want a second opinion, or want to explore, I will be certain to be very clear in my post that that is what I seek and will elucidate what it is I am looking for. For one thing, that will also save others the time and effort to post when they do not have something to offer.

hodie, point taken. I'm sick of those posts too. That's why I gave my opinion on who I would deal with,to help.To save some heartache.
Not everyone is as good with words as you are. I mean no disrespect to anyone, just an alternate way of looking at it,that's all.
You are more direct than many people but it doesn't mean anything against anyone without the way with words that you have.It doesn't NECESSARILY mean anything in and of itself. As I said, I get your point and I don't disagree.
In my experience the questions tell me alot as well but they are not conclusive .I mean,if someone doesn't ask all the right questions out of the gate doesn't mean they won't put their thoughts together and ask down the way. That's all.
