Thank the Lord. Brazen made a miraculous reappearance, albeit in the wrong kennel, in with some younger pups, sometime between midnight and this morning. He was very thirsty, but otherwise no worse for wear.
Thank you all for your help and support.
There is now a heavy lock on the kennel door!

I'm so happy for you Shelley. You must have been climbing the walls. Actually, my fear was that someone knew of your pups from your club. People go home and talk. Big ears listen, and get big ideas. Or, even worse, get big ideas for themselves.
Once more, I'm so happy and relieved for you.

Shelley, did someone miss the kennel count yesterday? Glad to hear you have him. I know the stress probably took a few years off your life.

Maybe you should have been more responsible with your multiple litters on the ground and actually searched for the puppy instead of running to jump on a computer and share that you're an idiot who loses puppies from your puppy mill....this is rediculous.

Glad to hear he is home!

People reading this board too know about those who have puppies. Don't forget all one needs to do is google a listed phone number to get names, addresses and maps. There is no such thing as privacy anymore.
The bottom line is Brazen is home and well.

Most situations turn out to be that the pup got loose, rather than it was stolen. So that is the good news.

Just to enlighten...Brazen was alone in his own kennel when he disappeared; and in a breeding program, you cannot always control when studs are available, or when bitches come into heat...Shelley's kennel is as far from a puppy mill as you can get! He reappeared in a different kennel, I suspect one of the local children, who are always fawning over the puppies, "borrowed" the puppy, and then got scared when they saw what an uproar commenced, police out, etc., and sneakily brought the pup back and dumped him into the first kennel they came to in the dark. I'm just so relieved he's back. I know how much Shelley suffered!jo
