Welcome aboard!

Not sure I'm quite getting the drift of your post, though--are you seeking an answer to a question, or seeking some advice? Or just introducing yourself in this post?

Generally speaking, most folks post to the main forum for things that are dog-specific in nature but not limited to any one breed. For questions or discussions regarding a specific breed, you can try posting to that breed's forum, or you can broaden your reach and post on the main forum where everyone will come across it.

No wonder you didnt get my drift!  Thank you for the guidance. For some reason I can not edit my post and it was a voice activated mess.  Anyway, I breed dogs and have some questions about a split heat.  My girl has had 2 litters that were healthy.  We have not bred her in a year but tried to time it right this cycle.  She did all the right things and even tied with a male.  progesterone was a3.7 two days before breeding.  That was the last result we had done.  She is not pregnant and 3 weeks post tie is now acting hormonal (lifting tail, humping our other dog etc)  These are signs she is coming into heat usually.  Does this sound like a split heat? Is it possible she will come back in with weeks and she didnt ovulate? What are your experiences? Her heat was early due to our other female throwing her in about  5 weeks before she was due.

If she's flagging and mounting it's possible now she's ready....was she doing the same when you bred her before ( receptive ). I have bred females 28-30 days from start of bleeding successfully.

She is not flagging but is moving her tail a bit more than usual when I check her and is mounting our girl. When we bred her before she was doing a lot of flagging and mounts our other girl before and after heat. She was 3.7 on day 22 of her cycle. she is now 30 days pos t breeding.
