I've been making these since I was a teenager, everyone in my family has kept them over the years and they all look forward to getting one. I used to purchase figurines, but now I make them out of polymer clay. Since I'm poor, they make great gifts and they're always appreciated. They are made from egg shells :)

I made this one when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, she's going to be 38 next month. It's a goose egg.

My daughter's always telling me I should sell them too, maybe I should. If I do, it'd probably be at a local consignment shop. Maybe.

Thanks all! That giraffe is for a girl I work with, she loves giraffes. The teddy and polar bears are first Christmas ornaments for the newest members of our family, two great-nephews. I'm also working on a couple of macrame projects! I LOVE to macrame, it's relaxing and I can bang out wall art, hanging tables and plant hangers in a couple of hours. It's good to have some talents when money is lacking, seems those gifts are more appreciated and will be kept for years to come :)
