I'm going out for a second visit to a local reputable breeder tomorrow. He sent me an email this evening stating the pedigree of the sire and dam and referenced this site for more info.
I search the sire and found all of the pedigree info but I'm over whelmed looking at all of these acronyms, percentages, etc.
Is there some kind of "Pedigree for Dummies" that I can read up on to better understand what I'm looking at?
Thanks in advance

Not really. Just ask the questions here and many will be glad to help you.
Posting the pedigree you are looking at will also be a help.

Yep. Not really.
Pedigrees take time. Better to just ask for the answers since you're in a bit of a time crunch.

Here's a primer that will help with some of the terms and abbreviations: http://www.asuperiorgsd.com/germanterminology.html
Good luck with choosing a pup!

Have you asked the breeder of the pups you are considering? Good opportunity to see what the breeder knows about their litter.
