I have used the site before to check on bloodlines of some of my dogs, great resorce. But today I need some help.

My dog is imported from Hungery, he was inported to the USA back in 2010. I wanted to use him for breeding and sent his papers back to the breeder to sign and return for regesration in the AKC. I have been working at this for nearly a year and last I heard my dogs papers were lost. I am working a puppy from his first litter and have a litter on the way.

I have copies of his papers, passport and he is tattooed.

Does anyone have any advice on AKC registration or how to track down his papers/copies of them maybe.

Thanks in advance

Chuck Pipkin

I think the Hungarian seller ( naming the buyer ) needs to fill this out - in Germany we do have the so called "Bescheinigung" you need to have, too. Not sure about Hungary, maybe a written sales contract is fine.

At least AKC doesn´t ask for the original pedigree, they only want to get a copy... I´d call and ask.

Chuck,

as sometimes happens... I can help. The breeder is in Hungary. A friend of mine who owned the granmother to your dog (you emailed him requesting help with this matter) told me he is willing to get this done for you.

He will not take any fee..yay, but you will have to pay fees requred by registries to ge this done.

My email: dancingroad@hotmail.com

Contact me, they will need info to get this done.
