Hello all, in reference to a recent post on Olex's whereabouts, where I included some comments about the unavailability of his current owner and the mystery surrounding the whole thing, I received an email from Olex's owner; maybe the post tickled me to email me back... I am surprised at how the thread evolved and some of the hens started clucking and getting revolted and decided to go to Germany to contact the previous owner after somebody volunteered this new interesting piece of information, or alluding to previous threads almost in a secretive code kind of way. It is not surprising... "hens and demaogues", they know who they are... (well, maybe not the hens...) Seems this database has its usual readers and its usual suspects and I'm sure all of you will read it, but not everyone will respond to it; i'm sure the message's heading will trigger the curiosity of more than one. After reading the different posts on Olex and witnessing and endless series of curt comments i couldn't but feel something fishy was happening. Top breeders in this country offering deceiving impassive dullness instead of clear cut answers or their true thoughts on "where's Olex" and their actual experiences with "Olex's owner" Well, for all of you to know, Olex's owner's name is Owner of Olex, so he signed his email to me. "Owner of Olex", thank you very much for your reply, but i'm not really interested anymore; the whole thing about yor dog stinks; i feel sorry for the "old man". thanks all, k.

I had no problems getting a hold of Olex's owner via the email that was posted and getting a response. We are looking at wanting to use Olex in the future. His owner is being true to the phrase " breeding to selected females" and will be very detailed in asking about your dog, etc. He does not have to breed to outside females - is this an issue? Maybe he is not responding to some due to the chatter on the board. How is he to determine who is serious and who is not and just trying to get "the scoop".

some of the threads sounded strange... that's all. Luvczechdawgzs... you use sarcasm in your comments on previous threads; eichenluft, you too... veronika you use privacy... why? i just emailed the guy for a potential female and I get a response having no introduction or signature... oh yes! "owner of olex" I just don't operate that way k.

Makgas Not sure what you mean by sarcasm. Nothing was said (or at least meant) in regards to Olex that was sarcastic. My opinions of the dog being good on and off the field are my thoughts on him. So no sarcastic insinuation there. I think Eichenluft brought up the dog because she was interested in using him. The information I provided was the bits and pieces of the info I got from Olex owner. I wasn't even left for humor but to provide feedback after someone mentioned me using him. Prefer refer back to the post! I don't think Veronica is being private. I think she is trying to get in touch with the owners as well.

I am not sure what you are talking about. I just like his dog, I would like to get in touch with him. I might not have a female right now that he would want to breed to, (I don't know if he looked at mine) but I may end up with one in the near future that would meet with his approval. No sarcasm intended in anything. I just want to breed to the best dogs that I can send my females to. I'd love to buy an Olex daughter out of a good bitch, if I could afford her, that is. They get pretty pricey when you look around. And I did. Veronica

Sarcasm - no. Serious questions that I ask about any stud dog I'm interested in - yes. The question I ask about any stud dog is - where are the puppies? So far, I haven't had an answer for Olex... hope to see puppies from him in this country, would be a shame to lose him as a definate plus to anyone's serious breeding program. But if he can't produce puppies - then he's not on my list. That's the question - anyone have an answer? Where are the puppies from all of the females who have been bred to him in this country? molly
