Hello,
I recently discovered this website and it has quickly become one of my favorites. I just wanted to share a photo of my dog, Beauty, who had recently passed away. I was curious to see what other GSD people thought of her. I am also searching for a new LC pup. Whether it is the price of a quality dog or the fear that i won't stop comparing a new dog to my old one, i seem to be having a very hard time settling on one.

what a beautiful dog. I am sure you miss her very much. And welcome to the site. I am also new here. I am also new to the GSD breed, having gotten my LC about 2 months ago.
I would only advise you to take your time finding a new pup. When you are ready, you will find the one you want. Years ago, when I lost a dog, I rushed out to get a new one trying to fill that empty spot. It didn't work. I unfairly compared the new one to the one that died, not realizing the problem wasn't with the dog, but with me, until months later. Allow yourself time to grieve.

However, there aren't too many things that are as wonderful as a frisky, wonderful puppy so I hope you feel ready soon.

Beauty was a very nice dog, in the photo she looked like true royalty.
