This was Tuesday October 21st at 3:30 PM, feeding time for the horses and leisure time for Otto. I videoed this on Tuesday to clarify that Otto is not " tied to the Gator when I take him with me to feed", as was alluded to by a poster on "another Drago thread".  This dog has a very sound temperament.

P.s. I was videoing and driving at the same time.

at the top of the hill, watering the horses and Otto getting a drink. Heading back down the hill.

Bwahaahahaa @ video Otto 8... Only horse people "cluck" like that, its fantastic and i have not heard it in a while....

Lol, cutaway. I got laughed at using "Whoooa", (drawn out and low voice) for stand out of motion exercise with my dogs. :-)

Clearly a (very handsome) boy that knows the routine and enjoys it Tongue Smile

BTW....Daaaang your horses are a ways away.

Clc, thanks. Took his sister, Olivia, yesterday and came across a huge herd of deer, up the side of the hill thru the woods to the right....that's where Otto hept glancing up to his right...the deer were probly up there eating acorns...there are a gazillion acorns this year. BTW, she refrained going after them with a stern No. :-)
That's two ponies, one retired from my dog acts, a thirty year old gelding spanning fifteen year career with two different acts,, my smooth fox terriers then my huskyxwolf hybred dogs. A retired twenty nine year old driving pony and a thirty one year old Paso fino retired trail horse belonging to a close friend. They are only half mile up on top of the hill. My twenty seven year old retired performance appaloosa/Arab gelding lives on the five acre pasture on the bottom in front part of the property only a quarter mile from the house. He lives with my seventeen year old gelding who was a stand in for the app/Arab, luckily I never had to use him. In thirteen years, the app/Arab only missed one performance because of a minor bruse to his eye during trailering to a gig. My beloved paint horse that I performed with for fifteen years I had to put down this year at the age of twenty nine.

Must say yours behave better around the Gator than the mob I worked with did.  Individually or separately I had problems

keeping them from climbing on, or murdering themselves under the wheels !

Lol, Hundmutter. I have a couple fifteen month olds that are still learning they can't run up to the side a put their feet on the floorboard to greet me while it's still moving. They've learned "go ahead" real well...and I can take the two of them at the same time without them romping off into the woods out of site. They mind quite well.
When the weather is hot, I will jump a dog into the back to stand up and ride home to prevent the dog overheating. All my dogs know how to ride in the back, except I haven't taught the two fifteen month olds yet. They do know how to load up, just haven't drove them around standing in the back yet.

I tried to get some of ours to ride on the back;  those with attitude loved it and rode around happily;  one or two others

could never be persuaded to get up there - or would get in, but jumped off if I moved it.
