Per the Tennesseean newspaper, the Tennessee legislature is considering the modification of state law whereas specific criminal penalties would be assessed in the event a dog bites someone-even the first time. Tennessee is one (1) of many states considered to be a "one-bite" state, i.e., where a dog will not necessarily be euthanized in the event it bites someone if it is the dog's first time to do so. This will change, should this bill be passed. Log onto http://www.legislature.state.tn.us/ and use the words "dog bite" in the search dialogue box to view moe about this bill, as well as several others concerning the welfare of dogs used for K-9 or military service. Tennessee residents can use the links available to learn more about the individual bills and contact the sponsors as well as their specific representatives and senators to let them know how they feel about these proposed pieces of legislation. It's only a matter of time and dog owners are the minority here.

Unfortunatly Spook USA Lawmakers wont discriminate. You will pay for the sins of others. They will lump the entire State including the innocent.

Vom Bruhaus, you're preaching to the choir. Breeders, buyers and trainers must ALL be responsible. It may be too late.
