Months ago we saw pictures of her dogs, these are still in my mind, not able to forget.
What happened to her and her dogs?

So what would be better - if you don't hear anything and those people just fade into the sunset and learn from their lesson (hopefully) OR would you rather them be delusional enough to act like nothing happened and still compete in shows every weekend until the issue blows over? Its a mess either way.

havidad, I think some people want to hear that the person has been tried, convicted, punished, and barred from owning, possessing or having control of any animals for some set period of time [actually, some people probably think that last part should be for life].
Other people probably want to hear that an investigation and resolution of the 'funny business' surrounding the property raid and the way the animal control organization, and the person in charge of it, handled the dogs that were removed from the property as far as the allegations of immediate placements being made before there had even been a hearing set, that one of the most valuable of the dogs was handed over to another party who had no financial or ownership interest in said dog, and said dog being exhibited almost immediately after being seized from the raided property are concerned.
But hell, someone can cause the death of their own dog, as well as that of their friend's dog, as a result of hyperthermia, who enter a plea of guilty and is sentenced, and a couple of years later have breeders readily sell them new dogs, buyers who will come to them for pups and other people who will recommend the person as a breeder, PLUS the guilty party has no qualms about appearing back at the shows and trials as if the death of the two dogs had never occurred. So nobody gets any real satisfaction, and the big losers are the dogs...the losers are almost always going to be the dogs.
