Not sure what the recent trend is but I remember the Nass having 60 + entries in the working class Males and 60+ entries in the working class females classes alone. Are the entries that far down across the country?

Entries were way down in Germany, and are also down in America irrespective of club.
AKC entries are also down.

The judges for this event were not released until the first week in August. So to get this many entries with less than 2 months notice, that is fantastic. It is hard for people to make plans on such short notice.
At the 2013 NASS there were 33 Males entered in the Working Class with 23 being shown. There were 26 Females entered in the working Class with 12 being shown.
How many entries does this year's NASS have? That show has been on the books for months.

Chris,
Not trying to compare the org against each other. I'm just wondering if the entries are down that bad across the board.
Based on the 2013 Nass numbers (thanks for supplying those), it does appear so.

The most recent update on the GSDCA site for The Sieger Show sets out the entry numbers as 185 Show entries and 8 Breed Survey entries for a total of 193. Very respectable numbers for a show only announced a few months ago and with the judges announced even more recently. I can only imagine what next year will be like.

Entries down everywhere. AKC runs on a point system and it only takes 8 dogs and 11 bitches for a major now.
