I play the PowerBall with a friend, I play on Wednesday and she plays on Saturday. If we have a measly winner, we let it add up and we'll play it on either PowerBall or MegaMillions. So, last week I had $8.00 to play and afterwards, couldn't find my ticket to check my quick-picks. I found it last night in the center console of my Jeep and I just checked the numbers. It wasn't a winner for the day I bought it, September 13, but I noticed something odd. The purchase date and the play date are both on the ticket and the play date is November 12, 2014. So, if the numbers would have hit, would it not have been a winner on the 13th of September? And will it be valid if it hits on November 12th? Hmmm....

Very confusing trying to get info on how many plays in advance can be purchased. One place says no more than 10 draws, another says up to 26 draws. If that's the case, I guess I have $8 on November 12! Make sure you check the dates on your tickets, glad I did before I threw it away!

Powerball tickets are $2.00 a draw. If you paid $8.00 then maybe your ticket is good for 4 draws.
In any event if you paid $8.00 you either have more than one set of numbers or it's good for more than one draw.

It is 4 draws on one ticket, it was a quick-pick for $8.00. I wasn't aware that you could buy them in advance, so I'll be sure to check the dates from now on! I only had one number on 4 lines on the 13th, so who knows, maybe it'll be a winner on Nov. 12th!

If the 1st draw was 9/13
The second draw was 9/17
The 3rd draw is tonight 9/20
The 4th draw should be 9/24, this coming Wed night..
I don't know how you are coming up with a Nov date?????

If you have 4 lines of numbers and you paid $8.00 it is only good for one draw....

When I purchased the ticket I told him I wanted quick-picks for that night, last Saturday, September 13th. When I checked the ticket today, I noticed the date for the draw, two months away! If I hadn't noticed that, I would've thrown the ticket away, because I only had one number on Sept. 13th.

And I wasn't aware you could buy tickets for advance dates, so I was really confused
