GA Breeders - Page 1

Hi to all. This is my first time posting although I have been reading the postings for the past couple of weeks. I know there are wonderful breeders throughout the US but I'm the kind of person that needs to see and hold and personally pick out the puppy that I will get. I live in AL and am looking at 2 breeders/kennels in GA that are within driving distance to me. The first one is... 1. Aus Dem Traumblick.com/ Also, I would love to hear of any other suggestions of breeders/kennels within the Atlanta area and more especially in the Montgomery, AL (100 mile radius) area. I dont have any suggestions to any people in that area, but of the two you listed -and looking at both websites- I personally like AusDemTraumblick.com . But again, I have never dealt with these people nor have I seen their dogs, so I cant really say JMO. Andrea

Yellowrose, Would you send me the name of the Alabama Breeder that you wouldn't buy from? I'm in NW Florida and I want to add another male to my family in the next year so I'm doing some research. I know a couple of breeders from the a region and one that I'm looking at has nice dogs but I'm hearing mixed reviews on his breeding practices. Thanks! email is bsceltic@aol.com

The best way to find a good breeder in your area is check with the nearest Schutzhund Club. Type in Schutzhund USA and there will be contact numbers for you to call. They will know were the show and working breeders are and give you some good advice depending on what you are wanting in your puppy. This board has many good members with good resources but also there is the other element of bashing that has no merit hard for a newcomer to sort through. I would start by calling Tracy Betenbaugh a respected trainer/breeder in your area in Georgia. 770-459-8483. There is a Beverly in that area as well not sure of her kennel name Tracy would know, that has excellent dogs as well. Marlene

I can tell you that Aus dem Traumblick is a nice bunch of people. My Bo came from Dennis VanderLinde and was whelped by Denise Kiah. I didn't buy Bo from them but they have been SUPER since I got her. I will tell you that they are eager to follow along as the puupies they produce go on in life, a plus in my book. Lorri

Dennis is a very good breeder I know him but did not know his kennel name Lorri is correct excellent choice to look for a puppy. Marlene
