Kalibeck

We are anticipating a 6"-12" snowfall(our first real snow storm this season!)over the next couple of days, & the only good thing I can think about it is how much fun my GSDs will have in the snow. My girl likes to run around with her nose in the snow drifts and then flips the pile on her nose off at me & then does that front down, sparkly eyes, pounce at me, to try to get me to throw snowballs at her! And I can't wait to see how the new puppy will react....anyone else want to share a story???jo

Sorry, folks; but after reading some extaordinarily nasty threads, I thought I'd lighten things up a little if I could....just for fun.jo

I would love to have my dogs be able to run and play in the snow! Unfortunatly I live in FL, so were lucky if it even gets cold around here. Mabey next x-mas Ill get some time off to take a trip up north so the pups can play in some snow and see the rest of the family :D. Andrea

My girls love the snow here, I live in Whitehorse, Yukon. We have snow for about 5 to 6 months of the year. Temps any where from -40c to -18c right now. The dogs love playing in the deep stuff & rolling around in it.Up here you have to get creative with training, short season. I have a water fall well in the back that they love jumping in and out of when its full to the top with fresh snow. I have just as much fun watching them as they do playing in it. Regards Everyone, Terry

Run... and play ball in the snow!! I have a hard time getting the dog to come in the house after playing in the yard! Just like a kid!! Dawn B.

We're on the E. Coast and right now we've got a good bit of snow and it's bitter cold. My lab loves the snow-he rolls around in it and will play for as long as you let him out there but my GSD wants nothing to do with the cold. He runs out, handles his business and come right back in.
