Ear Question - Page 1

My pups ears are totally crossed laying flat against his head. Is this normal? I dont have a picture but can try to get one if needed. They have been like this for about a week.

Very common, nothing to worry about. They will stand just give them a little time.

I wouldn't worry about it. The pups I have, their ears are still going up and down. I have a female that didn't have her ears completely up until she was 8 months old.

Perfectly normal, as they will lay all lopsided one day together the next and one day stand, one day u will look and they flopped again....do not worry.....feed cottage cheese in diet for extra fortification no pills......the teeth, feet etc are taking the calcium and the tendons have to strengthen with jaw work...give a cow hoof to chew on......using the jaw strengthens the whole facial attitude....leave them alone, just make sure they are clean....

I have seen some pups with ears like that. I think they look the cutest like that :). Like evryone has been saying, they will eventually come up. Andrea

I have a tee shirt I got at the flea market in Canton, Tex from a tee shirt vendor, with three pups with ears going all directions....look next time u go to a big flea market , the german shepherd books will show u the same pics,,,,USA , German Shepherd magazines show pups all the time and AKC puppy books tell u about ears.......and show the crazy way they look u probably just never noticed until now....now u will....funny how when it effects u , u always notice the questionable things...first.....and worry next....
