Here is my Bomber girl, Ember V Spitzenhund,  aka Cookie. I love this dog.

Anyone that ever thought about Bomber and his progeny could not go wrong with them.

This girl is everything, and more than I was hoping for.

I heard that Parrish is getting another awesome male stud dog to add to his program, just wondering if anyone else heard this.

His dogs really are worth taking a look at, he already has some pretty impressive dogs. And to be honest, it was so easy to deal with him when I got her.

He went out of his way, above and beyond for me.

I'm going to see if I can find out who the dog is, that is coming.

Wowza wow...Parrish did answer me about his dog. What a beautuful black boy...built like a brick $hit house.

Very impressive dog. I guess anyone that knows him will know about the dog, I guess he will not be used for public breeding. Russ might do a little competion with him. He's coming in from Germany in a couple weeks.

I can't say I blame him for not going public, some of the people here can't wait for an opportunity to run someone else's dogs down. And when it's other breeders, that is so pathetic.

Anyone that talks to Parrish knows, he is totally into this for the betterment of the breed, and his own breeding program.

As far  as I can see, it really isn't about sport dogs, it's about the breed and real working dogs.

I just hope that I will be able to add another one of his dogs into my life. I really can't say enough good things about him as a person, and a breeder.

I don't think you will find him wasting his time, or other peoples time slamming others dogs, he knows what he's got.

He breeds for specifics. (Yes, I am a Parrish fan, no doubt about it)

I talked to Parrish to about the 'new dog' a few weeks ago. Can't wait! We have a Bomber son and we are extremly pleased with him. Parrish and Spitzenhund is just an excellent kennel/breeder all the way around. We have had two outstanding experiences with them and two outstanding dogs. The other is a Mailo/Roxy pup. They are in it for the love of the breed and it shows.

I know you won´t like this post, but why do they buy one stud after the other instead of raising and competing with their own offspring?

Everyone has their own views but I,ve never understood the concept of not allowing a great stud not to be used with any outside females,to me if one cares about the betterment of the breed a great stud dog should be able to be accessed in other  high level breeding progams, a great stud should be able to wade through all the na-sayers and come through reletive clean on the other side, seems to me even the best studs will always have some that will speak neg of a male but that doesnt mean a stud cant produce very well, everyone has their own goals in what they are trying to produce some studs that work very well for some, will not work very well in others breeding programs, some bloodlines can be kind of hard to find and not everyone can keep 20 of the best studs under one roof, so to me seems very logical to share the best  studs with each other ...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................g

Interesting Question Susie. And a good one.

Wondering if Mailo was sold and has room for another male?

Heard Parrish has Anatolian shepherds for sale now.

by NA7 on 02 September 2014 - 19:09

Hi Susie,

He does. He competes some progeny and holds some back. One female is going to be bred to another producing male (not sure if it was announced so I'm not at liberty to say) and Bomber is being bred to Gary Hanrahan's Easy so he is studding Bomber out to select females.

Well, these are my thoughts ONLY...

But what stud dogs are you referring to?  I actually don't think Parrish gives a shit about competition.  He DOES work his own dogs, but he actually PARTICIPATES in REAL search and rescue, and actually DOES save lives.

I'm pretty sure Russ is the competion guy. Parrish breeds dogs for himself. He has, I am certain, cliental all over the world, that want specific kinds of dogs, for specific purposes.

I do believe that he keeps pups of his own, and titles them.

Just because he don't sit at the keyboard, tootin his own horn, does not mezn he isn't serving the breed in the best ways possible.

Shit, I can't see a thing wrong with the way this kennel conducts themselves.  I could only wish to be able to have the dogs he has.

I sure hope that once again, I havn't brought about the worst in people by bringing up what I thought  could go without Iit turning into a feeding frenzy of criticism.
