Hi all,
I'm looking for some economical ready to assemble chain link kennels. So far I've found some at Lowe's, I beleive 7.5'wide, 6' tall and 13.5' long for around $185.00, it also has a double hinged and latching gate in the front about the size of a house door. This type of kennel is along the lines of what I'm looking for.My idea is to have a concrete slab and two of these kennels anchored down on it with a large roof over the back half. The slab will extend about 4 feet past the kennels all the way around giving me some room for shelves for miscellaneous items and water hose etc.
I would like some opinions on this idea and also if anyone knows of comparable kennels along the same price or cheaper(I dont think I'll be that lucky though).
Thanks guys.

I recommend Mason Kennels - you won't find better for the price. They are strong and will hold up to strong dogs - easy to assemble, and shipped quickly. They are made-to-order. I am extremely happy with my Mason Kennel fencing.

Do right - I live in South Georgia, nice and hot for about 9 months out of the year.
Thanks Molly, I'm gonna Google Mason Kennels and see what I come up with.

Spend the money now or spend the money later. If you have high drive GSD's ists gonna cost ya. I tried the lowes kennels and they only lasted 9 months. The wire guage is too thin. I had a dog that pulled at the mesh and it began to seperate. I had to buy wire to repair the kennel several times. I now use them as the tops to kennels I had custom made. Get an estimate from a chain link fence installer. Ask for the kennels to be made out of 10 gauge mesh.

Very Glad for the tip Kyle.To be honest I don't have any GSD's yet, plan to add one soon though. What I do have is two high drive Rottweilers, which may be just as much or even more abuse on the kennels.
I really like the Mason kennels. They are put together really nicely and not too complicated either.Whats nice is you can have them custom make a kennel just for you.I beleive this is the way to go.I am going to do a little more searching and research though. Thanks guys you have all been very helpful.
