Just heard imports must now be 6 months old to ship into the USA.

Takes effect in 90 days.

Is this true?

The HSUS, ASPCA, and the government are really starting to overstep their bounds! I was hoping to import later in the future.

To many sick dogs being sent over is the reason I am hearing, maybe the breeders have a little to do with this, also.

Too many sick dogs being sent over??? I kinda doubt that's the reason....as if the US is just so much better than other countries, lol.

You also have to figure that no many breeders overseas will hold puppies that long either. So breeders here will miss out on introducing new dogs into their breeding programs.

Only reporting what was reported, lol.

LOL! Just heard?  What is your source, Admin?

It isn't like protectionism for profits. USA just gives that away all the time.

I did a cursury look at that link. And you know what? The motive seems okay.

Foreign based "puppy mills" will not find USA grounds so attractive if they have to provide care for puppies for four extra months. Those months eat into profits, you can bet on it.

My source is the radio. This is why I am asking if it is true.
