Hi Kazzie,
Have you tried the web site of the British Schutzund Association, not sure of the web address but it you do a search and go on there, all the clubs and contact details are listed.
Most clubs have a mixture of show and working line dogs as well as other breeds so no lack of willingness will be met.

Hi
Many clubs within the BSA do not inhibit breed dogs from training in the sport
My club the South Cheshire has several breed/show dogs in training,my own bitch was SG2 at British Seiger and trains on a regular basis twice a week, read articles in Breed Council and GSDL Magazine
She probably will never challenge a top working lines dog/bitch ,however given the correct training at an early age, imprining, tracking and prey drive will i believe help you
Many members of Schutzhund clubs travel a fair distance ,it is not the most accessible of sports
Check out BSA website for list of clubs
We have folk travel from West /East Midlands and Durham area to train at our club ,under the guidance of one of the most succssessful competitors in Schutzhund ,Chris Bows (National Champion and WUSV Competitor and main helper of several WUSV Competitors ),who is our main helper /trainer and mentor to our young club grade B helpers
Visit several clubs, observe, ask questions ,maybe distance will not be the deciding factor in your choice
However as a point,Schutzhund clubs do have a limit on numbers ,usually a question of time ,if refused persever, ask the club ? what do i need to do to be acceppted,it may mean,do some foundation tracking and prey drive development,if you dont know how to do it ask the club
GOOD LUCK
Tony

Hello Kazzie,
We aren't that far from you in Warwickshire and train dogs for Schutzhund as well as PP, drugs, guns etc. A look at the dog will determine it's possible suitability. Drop me an email with your requirements if interested.
