Is there some kind of difference between working GSDs depending on the country they comes from, belgium, czech german, Sweden, ect... Or is it more difference beteen different breeders and their golas than any major differencec between the different workininglines and contries they have been breed in for a longer period of time.

the difference is that the west german workinglines have a rich history , much knowledge in the lines , and ..... almost all the workingdogs do the Körung, so they look like a GSD.with a minimum as a G in conformation. they do the big trials in the biggest competition. the dogs from some other country,s are most too ugly to play in a cartoon , but have drive and the workingquality but have in many dogs not anymore a GSD,but just a workingdog howmany have a KKL?

The GSD should be a workingdog only in my opinion, and very few, if any, looks so odd that you can¿t see they are a GSD.

clearwater take a look at some kkl-1 V rated working lines before something that stupid actually comes out of your mouth. quanto jipo me take a look!! if that is ugly please show us your dogs or what your opinion is of what a german shepherd should look like.. DR-he has to be kidding!!

Once again we have the circular firing squad. While clearwater's statement was broad and inaccurate, it did not read that working line dogs are incorrect. The statement placed W German working lines within the standard while putting the rest outside the standard. Once again we see the great accuracy of a generalization. While there are trends in a population, the real distinctions can be made along specific family lines and the stock of specific breeders based upon their breeding goals and preferences. Best Wishes, Jonah

I think clearwater was trying to say in Germany even working lines have Korung and show rating, while other countries do not require those. that many places working lines do not even try to get a korung or show rating so some of the working lines are not looking like the GSD's from Germany. Now, having said that, don't jump down my throat. I'm just trying to maybe help explain a post where English is a second lanuage.

"the dogs from some other country,s are most too ugly to play in a cartoon , but have drive and the workingquality but have in many dogs not anymore a GSD,but just a workingdog" Nice try animules but the quote above is very plain and easy to understand.

The Czech workinglines of today and the DDR dogs are every bit as good IN GENERAL as the West dogs in conformation and Koer. My fisrt Czech dog, father KKl and mother KKl and both SG. Second dog, father KK1 and mother KK1, father SG and mother V-1. (workinglines).Last dog, father and mother SG and KK1. Clearwater, I don't see it that way.JMO with facts to support.
