O.K, I can't sleep for what ever reason, and I would like honest opinions on my rug rat's that we are keeping out of our litter. www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/493001.html www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/491284.html

Too cute Kelly, I'm partial to the little back one! =) Interesting markings on the sables legs and feet.

Thanks 4pack, Her mother has the same markings on her leg's and feet. Arro is a character. He has such an awesome personality, and they both seem to have a clear mind.

related to other discussion, anecdotal evidence suggests that sables with strong black 'penciling' on their toes indicates the black recessive. (*** note that i wrote anecdotal!)

She does throw out black pups, but she has never had an all black litter yet!

Well now that I think about it, the whole litter that we have would indicate that they would have the black recessive gene then. They all have the strong penciling on their toes, male's and female's. Would that be right or wrong?

Hi kelly, Just curious as to why you're keeping 2 out of the same litter. I wanted to keep 2 out of my last litter but was cautioned that it was not a good idea by some folks that knew alot more than I did. Again, just curious. Cole
