Your ad is NOT deleted. I just seen it.

Maybe you saw it before it was deleted...I went into My Ads...and right there in front of the ad it says DELETED...and I don't know why and would like to know so I don't make the same mistake again...if indeed I made one...

Bob Kress, the Bob-O does not know. I suspect there could be programming issues, as there have been several instances lately where certain features have been temporarily locked and cannot be used for a day or so. It is but a coincidence, but I made a post the other day and literally saw it disappear before my eyes, and I presume there was some file switching taking place at that moment. My guess is that the wonderful Oli is busy making changes, but that's just a guess. Try to submit the ad again, and see if it stays. Good Luck, Bob-O

Bob Kress, I just looked at your list of advertisements that you have sent to the database and your ad is there. Did you make a second post of this ad? It is not listed to the right-side of the screen so it would be normal if it was bumped down by newer ads, but it should not have been deleted. That is a mystery. Bob-O

Bob-O...No I didn't make a second entry on the same ad...I placed the ad and it was there...and in a few minutes it was gone...and I wondered why...so I went looking for it...and found it under "MY ADS"...and this is when I discovered that it said...DELETED AD...and just don't know why...Not a big deal...just curious...At first I thought I'd put something in there that just didn't belong...and therefore was deleted...but it's clean...so I just don't know...

Bob Kress, as I said it is a mystery to me as well. I do know that the site's use policy prohibits certain types of ads and/or content in these ads, but I certainly saw nothing wrong with yours. I suspect that it is file switching that is taking place as the contents of this database are being refined to mate with the other one, but that's just a guess. I base that on several questions that have been posed lately such as the inability to make pedigree changes, ipload a new picture, etc. That usually means that work on this site and the new site is being done. I can only assume these things, however, and your best answer would come from Oli himself. Good Luck, Bob-O

Thanks Bob-O for trying to explain the un-explanable...
