I started this thread to know more details about the Tyson male and the offspring out of him, I always want to hear opinions even if they are not always good reports about a certain dog, breeders need to know the bad as well as the good that certain bloodlines bring to the table, one post mentioned that he has worked Tyson first-hand in the fleash and has used the bloodline in his own breeding program,so that to me seems is as good and clear as a report can get and also some nice czech bloodlines that were used with Tyson in the past were nice to find out about also, I never  heard about the Rush dog so that was a education for me,but I dont know every current  nice stud out there,I hear nice reports on Bomber,Drago,,Rush,Black Jack,Quardes and I,m sure there are other current proven studs out there that are just not mentioned very often but still produce very well, also for any opinions on top current breeding females that they like or admire please chime in and share your thoughts even if its your own female or females, please mention full names or links so those interested can look at the ped. and bloodlines.

I love Tyson , but can't figure out what the big deal about drago is ?

In my opinion the thing I like about Drago is his abilitly to be able to produce like himself having very nice high drives and I have yet to hear about any offsring to have weak nerves, some stud dogs are in of themselves very good but not all studs have the ability to produce replica,s of themselves or perhaps as close as one can get since we know how important the female side of things bring to the table ,so Drago is what I would consider a KNOWN  PRODUCER at least in the first generation, and with certain other past studs they seem to have produced better working instincts show up in the sec or third generations down the road and from what I have heard from the pros is that Tyson better fits in the later decription.Dont forget though an excellent post from Staats... that Tyson produced good with top females bloodlines but perhaps produced crap when bred to crap.

Interesting posts...it seems like it's expecting a lot for any stud to produce top quality when bed to a crap female. Are some these proven Drago offspring produced from poor quality females?

While I dont know firsthand ( meaning seen in person in real life ) every female that Drago was ever bred to I do examine some of the peds of the females  and to me some of them are not so good, but Drago does seem to bring out the best in most or perhaps all females he is matched up with,he is getting alot of breedings and i have heard from some that own his offspring, Ive yet to hear anyone say their pups they have gotten out of him have major weak points, are these people too shy or ashamed of their own dogs,do they not come on pedigree database ? Do they not want to say for fears of being attacked on this site ?,who knows hard to say,but with most top studs the norm is you hear about about at least some poor ones that come out of a male, the only little gripes I hear out of Drago is that they can be on the vocal side and they can be on the large side and perhaps not move as fast as some other males offspring.

There is a Tyson and Wilma son called Black Jack does anyone know how well this male is producing ? Looks to have an excellent ped. It looks like the netherlands like to use him.

Black jack produces extreme aggressive dogs when bred to a good female basco also produces very tough Dogs , I really like both of them and have my eyes on a nice black jack son. Would like to use basco for a stud with the right female .
