I have seen Tyson in person while he was in Slovakia for matings, his keeper Mr. Sudimak, the owner of Eqidius kennel told us the same - a very dominant dog. However,I can say that Hoky is much better producer than Tyson. Tyson gave some great dogs but on the other hand also a lot not very good dogs.He was quite a disappointment, breeders expected more from him.A lot of pups from him didn´t have retrieve drive, were on smaller size plus sometimes weak nerves. It seems that he gave some good dogs with females that were very strong in passing their type on their progeny.
Hoky´s mom Beky Va-Pe was a top female from top lines. Her dam Loggi Maineiche produced top progeny - Akim,Arne,Cir,Cisko,Dunco,Duna,Dona,Darka Va-Pe. Hoky was the only pup in the litter. He has produced more than well in each of his matings regardless of the qualities of the females.Hoky gives strong nerves, social behaviour, high drives, willingness to work, high trainability.Lot of his sons and daughters are incredibly fast in protection work, bite hard with full and calm grips. His only problem is that despite the fact that he has correct elbows,he sometimes produce bad elbows - it goes from Loggi. He also carries gene for long coat.No dog is perfect but Hoky is very very close to it.

Bundishep, this is an old post on Tyson he is the sire of Hoky Va Pe the sire of Mike Diehl Irmus.

Bamadawg1 thanks for the expert insite, alot of good information and now do you know how to edit  the correct spelling of his name ? I can edit the content but not able to edit his name in the title post, the dog Hoky that you mentioned was he used in some top working kennels and if so do you recall some more current nice working dogs that have Hoky in their pedigrees ?

Great producing sires usually go back to strong dam lines!......hokey is an excellent example.

There are a lot of very good dogs from Hoky, just to mention some - Irmus Galan Nalag, Mike Diehl´s dog, placed 4th at WUSV, then Corado z Vetrovej luky in Canada.

So is it fair to say Tyson produced well but only with a few certain females and which females was he known to produce well with ?, should one just follow the pedigrees of Irmus Galan Nalag,Mike Diehl,s dog,Hoky and the Corado dog in Canada,ON PAPER Tyson,s pedigree looks very  nice to me,seems like he would have been a better producer being linebred on the stoppenberger Land female.

Another well known son of Tyson is Quintus Eqidius, he is multiple LGA SIEGER and BSP competitor. He is now in Sweden and is a popular stud as well.

The dam of Quintus is the famous Nike Eqidius. Here are 2 videos when she was at 13 and 14 :

I would say that it was those females who produced well not Tyson, in Hoky´s case it was his dam Beky Va-Pe and in above-mentioned Quintus, it was again his dam Nike Egidius that passed her excellent traits. She was a top female and a top producer too. There were strong dogs in all her litters - Saturn and Said Eqidius /sire Nick Heiligenbosch/, both heavily used for breeding giving lots of dogs working as police k9s, Said was the winner of special breedsurvey test /BTW Hoky too/ ; Hanibal Eqidius SVV 3 /sire Sero von Haus Antverpa/; Quinus, Cherry, Cheiko Eqidius /sire Tyson/; Drago Eidius /sire Nash von Lisdorfer Land/ - Drago was WUSV and FCI competitor, he sired a lot of good working dogs, for example, Faro Demin dvor /WUSV and FCI competitor, 9th place at FCI 2010, Faro´s son Chris spod Lazov is FCI winner 2013, Drago´s daughter Geischa Eqidius took 3rd place at WUSV. Then we have Nancy and Norman Eqidius /sire Xino van Roy´s Hoeve/.

Agreed with Cage, in the case of Nike, she is probably the best producer that I have seen and have not seen many come close to her. Jan (Eqidius Kennel) once told me that Nike's drive is incredible and will work for just a broken stick or a few strains of grass! Just look at her videos at 13 and 14 years old, don't think I can find another female like her at that age.
