I'm a very poor gaiting photographer but here's Martin & Bosco practicing for the SV show last year. Bosco did not gait naturally (at all!) and so he had to be taught how to gait. This meant that I wheezed around the ring carrying a tug until I thought I was going to die for months. We laughed and laughed that the judge's critique included a comment about Bosco's "good movement".

My first GSD, a WL bitch. She did not have much angulation but was very balanced. Her back was very firm. Watching her trot and gait it looked effortless, very efficient and smooth (topline stayed level, didn't bounce around). She was spayed right before I got her at 3.5 years old but I showed her in the altered class for fun (she was a U-CH before being spayed).
