Too soon to tell .. wait .. and the X-ray is terrible.

Looks to me like her pelvis is asymmetrical because of the extra bone on her lower spine (forget what that's called). Her legs are not rotated up enough, especially the right leg, so the ball is not seated as deeply as it could be. But overall, they look like they are ok. Jmo.

That does look like TV (transitional Vertebrae).

The x-ray could be better; but I feel the left hip is seated into the socket very nicely; the right hip (our left side of the screen) looks a bit shallow and by that I mean could be set in the socket a bit deeper, however, at this age it is really too early to tell what that right hip might do; with being kept lean, exercised under control, not a lot of jumping and some possibilities of swimming for maintenance and low impact exercise to build good muscle tone this hip could be OK. Let's hope so, good luck Nan

Horrible xray. Almost as bad as the one I posted a few weeks ago. I'd be angry if someone placed my pup like that, personally. 5 months is too soon to tell much anyway and especially not with that xray. They don't look "awesome" but they don't look bad enough that I'd think too much about it at this point. What's the rush? What was the reason for Xray at 5 months?

pelvis bones are kiniting nicely. pelvis is rotated along 2 axises (sp) and right leg is not even close to being in the correct position.
i'm thinking that it worth keeping the pup for 3 more months and try again, but with a vet that knows how to correctly position for OFA's.
