Great experiance with breeder - Page 1

I wanted to share a very positive experience I had recently with Linda Smith of Dortmunder kennels in Colorado, U.S.A. Linda posted a dog for sale on this board, I called her and after several discussion, decided to buy the dog and another bitch she also had for sale. To make a long story short, I had health problems and she just bent over backwards to accommodate me. She absolutely went out of her way, was very understanding and went above and beyond to make sure her females were seen to my place safely. She is very professional and very compassionate at the same time, she has a deep commitment to her dogs and is dedicated to quality breeding. The females are beautifully conditioned, arrived very clean and healthy, happy and friendly. I would absolutely and without reserve recommend her to anyone looking for a pup or an adult dog.

Ahhhh...did anyone else just feel that fresh breeze come through here?:)

Hah - laughing at the comment MI GSD. Nice to hear a good story for a change. And I wouldn't mind hearing MORE of those stories.

MichelleG, It is very nice to hear you had a very nice experience with this breeder. I also had a very good experience when I bought my puppy from Kraftwerk, but I also had a bad experience with another breeder. It is very nice to hear about the good ones that are around!!

Another GREAT EXPERIENCE with the breeder of my pup who will be a year old the 14th of Feb! Lida Fleury of Whirling Thunder German Shepherds in Pittsburg, Kansas, is one of the kindest people out there. She calls you to find out if all is well, and how the pup is doing. If you have a question, you can call her ANYTIME!! If there is a training question, her Trainer/Handler (Russ Osburn)is there to help you out. If you wanted your dog trained, you can go to Whirling Thunder, and train with Russ too! I would highly recommend them! Dawn Bonome

I PURCHASED TWO FEMALES FROM GARY HANRAHAN AT CANINE CONCEPTS AND THEY ARE BOTH FANTASTIC DOGS, GARY DID A GREAT JOB OF FINDING THESE TWO GIRLS FOR ME AND I WOULD LIKE FOR THEM BOTH TO KNOW HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE ALL THEY HAVE DONE. THEY HAVE WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ANSWE QUESTIONS AND RESPOND TO PROBLEMS I HAVE HAD. WITH GARYS HELP MY YOUNGEST IS READY FOR HER SCH2 AND I BELIEVE SHE WILL DO VERY WELL. JIM MCEUEN
