Not that I have anything against this forum, I actually stumbled upon on it accidently when I was provided a pedigrees. I was just wondering what other forums are good out there. I have the gsd.com and the DDR legend which looks dead almost no traffic. Just hate to put all my eggs in one basket with just 1 or 2 forums.

Wanna help me revive DDR Legends? I'm an admin/mod. on there. Since Steve died, it kind of died, but there's a lot of good stuff on that forum. Let's bring it back.

I would love to see a forum which features GSD breeders and dogs not from Germany or any country that borders Germany. Germany and it's GSD allies in Europe have for too long dominated the discussion. It seems that the GSD world focuses 90 percent of it's time, money, and energy on less than 10% of the GSD world. I am sure there must be good or great breeders in many other countries and Asia will be producing some good dogs in 20 years or less. The GSD world has let itself be controlled by a European Union marketing concept just like Champaign can only come from a region in France then German Shepherds can only come from Germany or the BENELUX. If an asteroid hit Europe and wiped out all the GSD in Germany and the BENELUX I am pretty sure the GSD would survive and flourish as a breed just fine. I am interested in what breeders in other countries are doing and producing and I am sick of the SV and WUSV which are as much about marketing of the GSD as breeding better dogs. The US wine industry has in a few decades advanced to a place of equality with France and Germany. There are great wines coming from South Africa and South America as well. Little talk of Australia and New Zealand bred GSD. Why can't the same be true of the GSD becoming an international competition for a superior GSD produced in 30 countries instead of following the SV and their marketing campaign. I have been to few countries on the globe that the Germans weren't early immigrants to and they brought their dogs. There must be some good GSD breeders in many nations outside Europe.

One thing to have a difference of opinion and discuss, but another thing to be vulgar, rude and hateful. Especially when its the dog part of a forum.

I know what you mean. A big turn off, for sure.
