I have been looking around at the metal crates and looked at the Zinger crates. When I looked at one of the crates I noticed on their website that they spelled Shepherd as "sheppard". That just irritates me...lol.
The ZINGER™ Deluxe 4000 weighs 33.5lbs and measures 24”W x 28”H x 36”L. This size will accommodate large sized dogs (labs, boxers, sheppards, pitbulls, etc.).
So that made me starting thinking about little pet peeves.... my other one is confirmation.... no its confOrmation....
So what is everyone elses "pet peeves"??

My hard dog is "sharp". Sharp is insecurity at least in the 70's 80's and 90's.

Oh yeah 'purebread' and 'shepard/sheppard' get my goat every time!
Another pet peeve: ever notice how the ugliest dogs with the worst structure tend to have the most extravagant claims in the ads here?
E.g., 'Future sieger' on a dog that's walking on its hocks.
'100% correct anatomie [sic]' on a dog with a spine that's shaped like the letter 'C'

Well since i'm a retired groomer it would be "Puppy Cut!!!"
I know the dog is matted but i don't wnat it shaved. "Oh so you wnat to rip out 6 months of neglected matting and make your poor dog suffer just so YOU can have a pretty haircut?" (I charged so much for dematting that everyone caved and got shaved.)
Another is I have papers! Yeah but you got your dog at Petland and it's from a puppy mill.
Or Puppies for sale! but when i inquire about pedigrees, OFA/ PennHip or other healht test and titles i get crickets.

Grr...my post got eaten!
Had a cockapoo in for boarding this weekend. Darn thing was totally spoiled, and it took the owner 3 minutes to get a leash on it after I objected to it scratching my arm while I was trying to fill out paperwork.
As I searched for the vaccinaton papers, I found the bill of sale. They'd paid $600 for this mutt!
[sigh] As i struggle to find the money to pay my mortgage, I often wish I wasn't so damn ethical. Just think, $600 per pup for a litter of mutts, no worries about hips/elbows or other certifications!
My neighbour breeds whipppets. She told me that she was at the airport, waiting to ship out a pup, and another lady was there shipping out a doodle. I forget the exact figures, but the doodle was being sold for considerably more than the purebred whippet pup!

My dog is a champion, because its parents were champions!
Or My puppies are clear of hip problems because the parents were certified!

German Shepherds don't have eye problems; therefore we don't need to certify our breeding stock...
