Took this picture of Strauss at the end of February. He'll be 10 years old April 13th, and is very close to his retirement. Can't believe where the time has gone.
Please pardon the washed out color...the flash decided to turn itself on. I mean, his saddle is crappy regardless, but his tan is much better than what is shown here ;)

Oh hai

Oh sweet lord, when Moo goes, the thread will be titled something horrendous. I have to admit that when he goes, there will be NO doubts that he has passed. I'll be a friggin' wreck.
He's still a super healthy dude. Even underwent surgery this year to remove a broken molar and got told that his bloodwork was stellar. He's going in for a wellness check in the next couple of weeks, and I'll be asking the vet if we can forego the rabies shot....he's almost 10 years old, I really don't think it's necessary.
During the really bad cold snap we had here, all of my other dogs coped with having to be indoors pretty well. It was the old man dog that was driving me nuts to go do something! <3
We will be starting massage therapy this summer (have some money coming) and he'll enjoy his retirement. If he keeps going as he has been *knock wood*, I think he'll be around for another several years :)
