Jeep! Jeep! Check out my new Jeep! - Page 1

I got some bad news when I took my Jeep for inspection earlier in the week.  The repair on the frame is no good and I either need major frame repair or a new frame.  My inspection is up tomorrow and I use my vehicle for work, a lenghty, costly repair is out of the quesiton.  So I went on a quest and found just the one I wanted, but it's in Sandusky Ohio.  I have 6 court cases Monday morning, starting at 8:30 a.m.  Usually, half show up, so court time should be about two hours, depending on who he takes first and I'll ask if he can move me up to the front of the line.  Ya never know, depends on what kind of mood he's in.  Then, I have to go to the Credit Union and pick up my money and I'll be off to Ohio by noon, hopefully. 

I was going to take a Greyhound bus, but the schedule doesn't work, either leaves too early or gets there too late.  Next try was a rental car, which still may be the option.  I called my sister-in-law to see if she was working this week, she's off until Wednesday and she not only offered to go with me, but to take her car.  But that would kind of defeat the purpose of having someone along, if you know what I mean, we'd both be driving home alone and it's four hours one way.  I think the rental is the way to go.

YEah FOR YOU ....DO I get to drive it all over the country when I get there...My jeep got left in Ohio in a ravine I was told by my beloved SON way back when he worked in Somerset Ky....

Yes bee, I just paid it off on January 10th!  I also just bought a new soft top in October!  I was so upset, but I didn't have time to steam up about it, I needed a vehicle fast!  I have a good friend whose family owns an entire avenue of dealerships and he helped me out quite a bit, good to have friends in the right places!

I will have the frame repaired on my poor little teal Jeep and I'll sell it.  One good thing about Jeeps, even with they're trashed, they're still valuable :)  You can pretty much dismantle a Jeep, so all of the parts are usable, even if the frame is shot.  I'll still get a good deal of money for it and I think I'll be much happier with a 6 cylinder anyway.  Or so my buddy tells me anyway, he's more excited than me, LOL.

vk, I'll take you for a ride any time at all, but you have to come to the States, LOL.

Gouda, I don't think you'd survive a ride with me and I wouldn't want to risk your immortal soul.  I could be a bad influence, not to mention you having to dodge all of the lightning bolts that come my way   But hey, if you're game, so am I!
