Thanks. He has been on Science Diet prescription diet since he was 1.5 years old. He has had blatter cancer since then. He is in remition now and has been since he was about 2 years old. Maybe all the preservatives in Science Diet preserved him..lol.

When Smudge was 1.5 and diagnosed with bladder cancer the vet told us we would be lucky to have him another 6 months. My mom and I charished every day with him. Well he is almost 19, I guess he didnt read the same medical chart that the vet read!
He is still a feisty old man.. so that is good.

My Pookie was17 when het passed last year. Smudge reminds me of him.
