For WDA members.

There's the basics.......

Vet must register at the a special site. Registration will be reviewed and vet will be given an account number.
WDA forms will be filled out and submitted, including the vet's account number.
WDA will foreward the paperwork to the SV (see submitance form for rquired paperwork).
When the SV recieves the paperwork, they will find the electronic xray filed by vet's account number and evaluate it.

For more intormation and better directions please call the WDA Secretary.

Thank you Dan Yee for your work in making this possible and Joy for fielding so many questions and completing all the paperwork.

Correction Sitasmom, I actually spoke with Joy last week about the six month time limit and she said it is no longer a rule, hasn't been for many years, was just never removed from the instructions. So yes, x-rays older than six months can be submitted to the SV through the WDA. And I also had Joy send me the link to send to my vet so he can fill out the form and be able to submit to the SV, thanks to Dan Yee and also John Henkel for their hard work in getting this done :)

My biggest issue has been to get a clear description as far as positioning is required. I have called the SV, who refrred me to USCA/WDA.  My plans were to submit elbows only, since SV does recognise OFA hip results. My vet has taken many OFA hip/elbow exrays. But what I ended up with were elbow xrays that will be rejected due to positioning.  I wonder if there are any official instructions available that I can pass on to my vet?  And yes -  many thanks to Joyce, who provided me with the link as well :)

Spurell - will you post the elbow x-rays? Just curious to see the positioning.
