Recently i rescued a German Shepherd of 3yrs old and the dog came to me in a right state, stinking to high heaven with matted fur so much so that she had to be cut/shaved by a vet and she weighed only 23kilos, since being with me she is now doing well but the breeder in which i rescued this dog from has at least another 15 German Shepherds in similar states. Living outside in cold damp concreted kennels with no bedding and food or water bowls in sight. Other dogs are kept inside in crates but the crates are obviously to small for the dogs that they cant even stand up straight or move in the crates. Her dogs are aggresive with other dogs (we are lucky with the one we got as she is not) so they are not able to socialise with each other as they fight or rip each other apart, one of her dogs had its eye popped out of its socket and it took the breeder 10 hours to seek medical assistance for the poor dog. She is knowingly breeding dogs that carry and produce epilepsy and also dogs that have CDA. One of her dogs had 2 litters in 9 months these were back to back matings and this dog had CDA. Another dog had 4 litters in 3 yrs altough only 3 of the litters were registered as the 3rd litter that only contained 1 pup was born outside in a cold damp kennel and unfortunately the pup died at 5/6 days old. Another dog was pregnant with 18 pups but unfortunately omly 8 pups survived as the breeder was advised by a vet that the dog needed an emergency C-section but whether she couldnt or wouldnt pay for this i dont know she then continued to drive around looking for a vet that would give her oxitosine(please excuse spelling). I have contacted the RSPCA about all this and also her local council but i feel like i may be fighting a losing battle.
Does anyone know of any other organisation or person/persons that i can contact about all this as the issues with this breeder just go on and on and it upsets me that other dogs and potential owners are suffering at the hands of this so called breeder.

How did you manage to get the dog you have out?

Have a look at this link regarding the update of the law to ensure that pet owners have a 'duty of care' for the well being of their pets in all areas of their lives.  Giving the RSPCA more power to intervene and help and protect any animal in need.

Perhaps you could email the RSPCA with a copy of your message on this Site, and include this link along with it.  Demand that the situation is investigated and that they respond with their findings.  (Perhaps if you have contacted them before, but felt they have seemed inadequate, add that you have posted on a World Web Site in relation to dogs, and that we are all eager to hear the outcome of their investigation into these allegations).

Dumpy
Sound's like you have a personal vendetta with this breeder,
If you know all these thing's why has it taken you so long to act.?
You did not rescue the dog. It was given free to a lady on a spay contract.
The breeder passed the surprise RSPCA visit you organised.
It will do no good spreading your lies here, this board is bored with
tittle tattle.
I will not join in this subject again.

No not a personal vendetta because the first time i met her i thought she was great and thought she done best by her dogs as i was niave and didnt know any better but since that meeting i have had more to do with the german shepherd world and well once your talking to people about the different breeders the same name always seems to pop up.
My partner did RESCUE the dog as i believe that the life she was living was no life at all being attacked through cage bars by the other dogs for food and to be that skinny is disgusting. I got told from the woman we got her from that she couldnt put on weight because her hips were bad and then when i contacted the original breeder of this dog about my concerns she just went and justified what had been done and said the dog hadnt been wormed if this is the case how come now being here still with bad hips and has only just been wormed yet has still put on 7kilos, this is disgusting and just feel the breeder/breeders are trying now to dig themselves out a a huge whole. Yes the RSPCA visited monday mmmm where were some of the dogs?????? The RSPCA told me that they had minimal care so there was no problem,( i am angry with them also, ) apart from the dog that is in the crate and is so aggressive she is now having her put to sleep.

Also i was told by the original breeder that storm came from good breeding only to find out later that her mum Colandees Black Bloom has a hipscore of 60. Storms hips were screened and believed to be in the 80's so she will not be bred from and we are going to get her speyed once my vet is happy with her weight to go ahead with the operation. I am also having storm pedigree checked as we speak so will tell of my findings once that is done.

It seems like the longcoat breeders have had another falling out & once again turned on one of their "mentors".
Didn't this happen last year & the year before?
The Dog in question was owned by this person but not bred by her, right?
So, the breeder of the Dog lied to her as well?
You thought the owner was great, but was naive, yet you rently "rescued" the Dog. Did you think she was "great" then?
How did you acquire this animal, I can't fathom that bit out.
