Who has bought a dog lately and can tell me what it cost to ship an adult, probably XL kennel or even giant (700) kennel (dog is big) out of CZ into USA? I'm near Chicago. I was quoted 1000Euros and it's been 5 years since I shipped a big dog. Any input is helpful.

It would be cheaper to buy the kennel here and go get him. I am planing a trip later in the year if you could wait and you could save a ton on shipping.

When are you going? I'd love that if timing worked out. You could let me know if it has 3 legs and 2 heads, too. There are a few dogs I'm looking at, basically younger or male versions of my dear, wonderful, best-doggie-in-the-whole-wide-world Capri. Trying to get something similar I can cross on the pups I've kept back over the past few years.

Yes, 1000e is about right.
If possible, find someone coming to UScA Sieger Show to bring on as extra baggage. Most will be flying to Chicago before driving to Purina Farms in MO.
The cost for a dog as extra baggage is about half the cost of shipping.
